You’re so beta, and don’t even know it.

I have been playing Infinity Kingdom for over a year now. This company does not beta test. Instead they hit you with new material and let you sort through and find their mistakes. The amount of bugs in EVERY SINGLE UPDATE is absurd. iOS users have been locked out of the game over 24hrs now since 2.0 rolled out. But this is par for the course. It’s not just the days when updates arrive that are the problem. Every single new feature has had glitches that make you want to throw your phone out the window. On top of that, nerfing immortals that you PAY for is YooZoo’s gift to you with each patch. The game has so much potential, has fun addicting features, but YooZoo has missed the mark at every opportunity. Instead of working on any current bugs they roll out new features to add to the glitch list. IF they beta tested new material maybe the game would work and their players would be happy? Just a thought, seems other companies know this as common practice. As an example, I have had a ticket in with their support team for 4 months now about items I lost during their last major update in January 2022. Every couple of weeks I check in and get the same response- the developers are working on it. Still?! It shouldn’t be this difficult people. Most legit game companies, in times of technical disfunction, will pull out all the stops with gifts to players or extraordinary customer service, not YooZoo. It’s as if their frontline team, developers and entire company could care less. I would not recommend starting this game as many players who started in the past year are quitting.

The good and the meh

Hate to give it 3 stars because it’s a fun game. First the good. The animation is beautiful and there are lots of different heroes. Unlike most of these types of games, you can still do research, heal troops and train troops while the corresponding buildings are upgrading. The cost and time for upgrades doesn’t double with each level as is typical with other games of this type. Gems (premium currency) are pretty abundant and easy to get without spending money. The stones to summon heroes also seem to be pretty easy to get. The campaign mode is pretty straightforward is pretty much done on autopilot and not really involved; which could fall into the meh category depending on your preference. Now the meh. Like most of these games, whales (big spenders), run the show. You don’t have to spend money to gain strength but to do it quickly you do. Also not sure yet but so far it looks like one of the more powerful heroes (Merlin) is locked behind a paywall. There are also 2 dragons that aren’t available until you raise your vip status to pretty high levels. Unlike other games like this, some of your troops die when fighting neutral enemies and not just when your hospital is full. The capacity of your hospital is pretty small too. The space in your warehouse, protected resource space, is also pretty small. Healing time for troops is pretty long for even low level troops and there is no help feature to aid in healing speed. So any prolonged battles will result in huge amounts of casualties and if you get raided by bully players, they can completely ruin you to the point where you might as well start over and hope you have better luck in another kingdom.
