Why We Recommended It
BikeControl, a macOS productivity tool originally priced at $5.99, is now free for a limited time. This app transforms how cyclists interact with training platforms like Zwift or TrainerRoad by letting you control workouts using physical click devices—think virtual gear shifting, steering, adjusting intensity, or even managing music—all without touching a keyboard or screen. Unlike generic remote apps, BikeControl is purpose-built for indoor cycling, mapping hardware clicks to specific in-app actions so you can focus on your ride. For anyone who finds fumbling with a mouse mid-workout disruptive, it’s the most streamlined solution available on macOS. The app is privacy-conscious: only screen access for configured gestures, no personal data collection, and no external connections for accessibility features. Grab it now at no cost—a neat $5.99 saving—if you want to elevate your training setup without spending a cent. Whether you are a serious cyclist or a casual rider using a smart trainer, BikeControl closes the gap between hardware and software seamlessly.

Doesn't work as advertised
I started using this app about in Nov 2025 to enable my Di2 shifters on Rouvy for virtual shifting (previously used the Swift Click v1). After I got it set up (with a little help from Jonas) it work like a charm. What a difference it made to my racing experience. No more awkward clicking on the Zwift Click. Since then the app has gone through many updates adding many features. The support is fantastic! I’m using a Mac and every now and then a Mac OS update will cause a hiccup and all I do is send an email and it’s fixed. Great response time. I was more then happy to upgraded to the pro subscription to support development. Love this app and support.
