Do not buy this app. I just went on an all day scout photographing park locations across LA. It was a jam packed day, so I didn’t have time to export all of my photos from Artemis to my Photos folder between locations. I returned home to two very sick and fussy toddlers, and an exhausted wife, so I took care of my family and elected to sort and export my photos in the morning. Well, I woke up and the app updated itself overnight and erased all of the photos I took the previous day. Literally, hundreds of photos. An entire day wasted. And it’s raining these next couple of days, so I can’t go and reshoot everything because I need clear skies for the location deck of my outdoor spot. There is no customer service support to reach out to, either, so the best I can do is warn you all about purchasing this terrible app. Next time I will just use the dedicated camera app on my iPhone.

I find Artemis Pro incredibly useful and easy to use. I was recently on a shoot with several different models of Red cameras, and the Artemis app excelled. The accuracy and flexibility of the app is so useful on a technical and creative level that that I’ve begun to really rely on it.
